Darine Nascimento

Coming from humble beginnings, I was born and raised in Brazil and the eldest of 7 siblings. Life wasn’t exactly easy then. Since I was eight, my mother had to work to make ends meet which puts me in charge of managing the household, and my young siblings. But it was through these challenging times that I developed a passion for keeping a clean home, because I know first-hand how it impacts a person’s wellbeing, especially under times of stress. My “co-head of the household” status remained until I was in my 20s.

Then one day, I decided to move to America with the mission of improving my family’s life back at home. To live the American Dream. While learning the language, I started a home cleaning business as a solopreneur. Then brick by brick, house by house, customer by customer, I now run and operate one of the most recognized cleaning services in Fairfield County. But I will never forget where I came from.

My Mission

Having come to America with nothing and building a business from scratch has been an amazing learning experience in my personal journey. Yes, in the beginning, it was about survival, making ends meet and eventually gifting my mom the gift of buying her a home; but in doing so, I have found my calling. My mission here at Darine’s Super Cleaning Co. is threefold:

  • I believe maintaining a clean, safe and organized home is one of the most important elements for a happy, healthy life. It’s closely linked to promoting better mental health, less stress and focus. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of helping families find more time for themselves and improve their quality of life allowing them to focus on what’s most important to them.

  • At Darine’s Super Cleaning Co. our mission is to improve the lives of not only the people we serve, but our wonderful cleaning staff as well. We treat our customers like family, and our culture is centered on delivering happiness to every home we touch. As for our team, we strive to be a great place to work where our cleaning techs take pride in their work, have fun doing it and be compensated appropriately so that they can elevate their lives at home. 

  • We clean with a purpose, and cause. As a way of giving back to the community, Darine’s Super cleaning Co. is helping keep the homes of cancer patients clean - free of charge. I know what battling cancer is like as my mother is going through that right now. To help her focus on her health, we brought in help to assist with daily chores and keep the home clean. This had an enormous impact on her mental health. I want to do this for others who are also going through these difficult times. As a result, Darine’s Super cleaning Co. will donate a percentage of our cleaning services to cancer patients who are facing financial and mental distress. Through this small contribution, we hope to help make the world a cleaner, healthier, better place. 

We are proud partner of Cleaning for a Reason and are currently donating cleaning services to women undergoing cancer treatment.
